Sawyer says "That's a Big Waterfall"!

This is Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side.

Today was my favorite day so far.  We had a 9:00am  6 hour tour of Niagara Falls.  It included 20 minutes on the Maid of the Midst which has been in operation since 1846.  They get close enough to the falls to get a shower for free.

Then we went to Goat island and Luna island for an up close view of the water as it is just going over the falls at 35 miles an hour.  It is thrilling and a bit scary.  You cant help but think "what if I fell in?"

Last was the Skylon tower which is where the first picture was taken.  It is an outstanding view of all three falls (American, Bridal and Horseshoe) from 52 stories up and 72 stories from the water.

Our guide gave us a dinner recommendation which we followed.  He told us Anderson's Beef has the best beef around.  We were thinking Steak house.....no, more like Arby's.  However, the beef was delicious, obviously roasted just like Grandma did hers.  But the buns they put in on were to die for, called Kimmelwick.  Simply dressed with horseradish sauce. Glen said the mashed potatoes were good too.  They also made both soft serve and hard scoop homemade custard.  Mmmm coffee bean and chocolate for me thank you.

We are just now settling down around the fire with a cocktail (night cap by my standards).
Another beautiful day, thank you Lord!  And hey, did I mention it was not HOT but a perfect 75?
